The MRCOOL Signature Series 8kW Electric Heat Kit (MCHK3621) provides supplemental or emergency electric resistance heating for MRCOOL Signature Series 3-ton multi-position air handlers. When used with a heat pump condenser, the heat kit activates during extreme cold weather when the heat pump's efficiency decreases. It can also serve as the primary heat source when paired with an AC-only condenser. This kit installs directly into the Signature Series air handler's heat kit compartment and is factory-engineered for safe, code-compliant operation. Professional installation required.
