PRODIRECT Air Handlers require professional installation by a licensed HVAC technician. While multi-positional, proper refrigerant charging, duct connections, and electrical work must be performed by a certified contractor to maintain warranty validity.

Coverage varies by BTU: 1.5 Ton covers ~600–900 sq ft, 2.5 Ton covers ~1,000–1,500 sq ft, 4 Ton covers ~1,600–2,000 sq ft, and 5 Ton covers ~2,000–2,500 sq ft. Actual coverage depends on insulation, ceiling height, and climate zone.

All PRODIRECT Air Handlers use R-410A refrigerant. The air handler itself does not contain refrigerant — it is charged at the condenser and flows through the connected line set.

These air handlers are compatible with heat pump condensers for heating in cold climates. For supplemental heating in extreme cold, add a compatible heat kit (5 kW, 10 kW, or 15 kW) to the air handler.

The purchase includes the air handler unit only. A condenser, line set, thermostat, and any heat kits are sold separately. Check the product page for bundle options.
