The MRCOOL ProDirect 24K BTU 2 Ton ECM Air Handler (HAH024FEA) is a high-efficiency, multi-position indoor air handler designed for central ducted HVAC systems. Featuring an ECM (Electronically Commutated Motor) — a variable-speed, brushless DC motor — this air handler delivers superior energy efficiency, quieter operation, and improved humidity control compared to standard PSC motor units.
The ECM motor automatically adjusts airflow speed to match system demands, reducing energy consumption by up to 75% compared to PSC motors during partial-load operation.
