The DIY 5th Gen outdoor condenser is the heart of your ductless mini-split system — covers up to 450 sq. ft.. This unit connects to one or more indoor air handlers to deliver efficient heating and cooling with MRCOOL's advanced inverter compressor technology. Note: This is the outdoor condenser only. Indoor air handler(s) and line set(s) are required for a complete system.

Installation & Product Tips
- Clearance Requirements: Maintain at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides of the condenser for proper airflow. Do not install in enclosed spaces.
- Foundation: Mount on a level concrete pad or use the optional wall mounting bracket (sold separately). The unit must be perfectly level for proper operation.
- Snow & Ice: In cold climates, elevate the condenser at least 6 inches above expected snow depth. Consider optional rubber risers (H600-B) for vibration isolation.
- Shade: If possible, install in a shaded location to improve cooling efficiency. Avoid direct west-facing exposure in hot climates.
- Service Access: Leave at least 24 inches in front of the service panel for future maintenance access.
