VersaPro Outdoor Condenser

The VersaPro outdoor condenser is the heart of your ductless mini-split system. This unit connects to one or more indoor air handlers to deliver efficient heating and cooling with MRCOOL's advanced inverter compressor technology. Note: This is the outdoor condenser only. Indoor air handler(s) and line set(s) are required for a complete system.

Installation & Product Tips

  • Clearance Requirements: Maintain at least 12 inches of clearance on all sides of the condenser for proper airflow. Do not install in enclosed spaces.
  • Foundation: Mount on a level concrete pad or use the optional wall mounting bracket (sold separately). The unit must be perfectly level for proper operation.
  • Snow & Ice: In cold climates, elevate the condenser at least 6 inches above expected snow depth. Consider optional rubber risers (H600-B) for vibration isolation.
  • Shade: If possible, install in a shaded location to improve cooling efficiency. Avoid direct west-facing exposure in hot climates.
  • Service Access: Leave at least 24 inches in front of the service panel for future maintenance access.

This unit uses R-454B refrigerant, the new low-GWP replacement for R-410A. R-454B is pre-charged in the Quick Connect line sets for DIY models.
This unit operates in heating mode down to approximately 5°F (-15°C). For extreme cold climates, consider a Hyper Heat model or add a backup heat kit.
This is the outdoor condenser only. A complete system requires: indoor air handler(s), line set(s), and mounting hardware.
Most MRCOOL mini-split units require a dedicated 208-230V circuit with a double-pole breaker. The specific amperage depends on the BTU capacity. Always consult a licensed electrician for electrical installation.
MRCOOL mini-splits include a wireless remote control and built-in Wi-Fi for app control. The optional MRCOOL Smart Wi-Fi Mini Stat (MST05) provides wall-mounted thermostat-style control for individual zones.
MRCOOL provides a 7-year compressor warranty and 5-year parts warranty when the product is registered within 30 days of installation. Unregistered units receive a 5-year compressor / 1-year parts warranty.
